How Does The Music Selection Work?
We include two special requests with every booking. Please submit these at least three weeks before your event.
For ceremonies, common selections include the Bridal Party entrance, Groom’s entrance, Bride’s entrance, Signing of the Register, and Recessional.
For cocktail hour or prelude, you can choose unlimited songs from our repertoire list, or simply select a preferred genre and let us curate the perfect playlist for you.
How Do I Book The StringSisters?
We provide a personalized quote and contract. A deposit via eTransfer to payments@stringsisters.ca secures your date.

Are The StringSisters Actually Sisters?
Yes, we are twins!
How Many Songs Should We Choose?
Each song is approximately 3–5 minutes. Consider timing when selecting your playlist to fit the event. For a standard cocktail hour, we usually perform about 15-18 songs.
Can The Harp And Cello Be Moved Within A Venue?
Yes! Moving within the same venue, such as from ceremony to cocktail hour, typically takes 15 minutes including packing, moving, and retuning.
Can You Move Between Different Venues?
Yes, we can move between venues. Transition time depends on distance and logistics, but we ensure everything is packed, transported, and set up efficiently.
Do You Provide AV Equipment?
We are fully acoustic. The natural volume of the harp and cello is usually perfect for up to 120 guests. For louder settings, two standard microphones or clip-on mics are recommended.
When Do You Arrive On-Site?
We arrive approximately 45 minutes before the start time to ensure everything is perfectly set up and tuned to the room's temperature.
Do You Attend The Rehearsal?
No, we do not attend the rehearsal. We coordinate directly with you or your planner beforehand to ensure we have all the cues needed for a smooth day.
