Frequently Asked Questions

How Does The Music Selection Work, And How Many Songs Can We Choose?

We include two special requests as part of the package price. Special requests are songs not currently in our repertoire, and we kindly ask that they be submitted three weeks prior to your event.

For ceremonies, we suggest choosing music for key moments, such as:

Bridal Party entrance
Groom’s entrance
Bride’s entrance
Signing of the register
Bride and Groom's recessional

This template can be customized to fit your unique ceremony. For prelude or cocktail hour music, each song lasts 3-5 minutes. You may select individual songs to fill the time or provide a preferred genre, and we will curate the playlist accordingly.

Please finalize all music selections three weeks before the event. Thank you!

How Many Songs Should We Choose?

Each song is approximately 3-5 minutes in length. Please consider this when selecting your playlist to ensure it fits the timeframe.

Can The Harp And Cello Be Moved Within A Single Venue (e.g., From Ceremony To Cocktail Hour)?

Yes! We can easily relocate within the same venue, such as moving from the ceremony to the cocktail hour. The process typically takes around 15 minutes, which includes packing, moving, and quickly retuning our instruments before we resume playing.

Can The Harp And Cello Be Moved Between Different Venues?

Yes, we are also able to move between different venues. The time required for the transition will depend on the distance and logistics, but we aim to ensure everything is packed, transported, and set up efficiently to maintain the flow of your event.

Do You Provide AV Equipment? Do You Need To Be Mic’d?

Currently, we are a fully acoustic duo and do not provide AV equipment.

While we don’t always need to be mic'd, we recommend using microphones for louder settings, such as cocktail hours or receptions. For these occasions, two standard microphones on adjustable stands, or clip-on mics, would work well.

If you're interested in solo cello, our cellist has a sound system and microphone available and can perform alongside pre-recorded (canned) music for a more amplified experience.

When Do The Musicians Arrive On-Site For An Event?

We arrive approximately 45 minutes before the start time to ensure everything is perfectly set up.

Do You Attend The Rehearsal?

No, we do not attend the rehearsal, as we are able to coordinate everything directly with you beforehand. However, we’re always available to discuss any specific details or timing to ensure the day goes smoothly.
